Final Fantasy XV: A New Empire - A Dark dreaded hour at the Dark day in the new Dark World!

If you ask any active players (Define as players who log into an account at least once a day) of Game of War (GOW), Mobile Strike (MS), World War Rising (WWR) and Final Fantasy XV: A New Empire (FFXVANE), and soon to be release Crystalborne: Heroes of Fate) what a dreaded hour is, they will say it is 5 PM PST / PDT daily.

Why do players of these games developed by Machine Zone aka MZ (MZ (re branded to MZ on April 4^th, 2016 after GOW and MS players started referring to them as MZ in game) dread this particular time? Because it is the time that MZ releases their new features, in game updates, and events. This is the general sentiment among current MZ games; their Dreaded Hour. Why so?

This is time that every active players in all MZ games hate due to the fact that with a new feature release, you account could be completely destroy by a player who can afford to spend the money and on time to keep up with MZ’s New features.  

The dreaded hour on April 20^th, 2019 turned the FFXVANE into chaos and turned the game into a whole new Dark World (literally). MZ releases a new feature called the Dark World.

What is the Dark World? The Dark World practically erased all stats, features, capabilities, gears, troops, researches, etc… that players spent real money into building. The game was literally turned upside down. All the stats, features, capabilities, gears, troops, researches that many players have acquired over the past two years are no longer in play.

The Dark World have their own troops, researches, resources, etc… that are not capable of being defeated with the past two years of efforts, but can defeat the past two years effort with the new Dark World features. 

Bottom line: The game is new again and everything you worked and PAID for in last two years is wasted! You can no longer use your old troops / boosts/ gold/ etc...

Case in point: A Citadel 100 player with 128 Billion powers (immediately after the introduction the Dark World with free Dark troops for every citadel in the game) attempted to defeat a Citadel 15 with 4 Billion powers with no combat or defense researches (4 Billion powers due to 1.5m Dark Ranger troops received from MZ).

The Big Player attacked the small player with  12,088,000 troops ((Monster Troops - 211,761 Deathclaw, 1,629.359 Bandersnatch, 1,608,880 Jormungand) and 8,638.000 Lightning Cavalry Lv 7 troops, his hero in full attack Crimson Ramuh Gears, and 2 5*s monsters, and 2 4*s monsters) against 1.5m Dark Ranger (free troops with Noctis lvl 9, no gears, no monsters, etc…). In theory, 12m latest troops with the latest gears should easily defeat an account with no research, no gear, and low level hero. Instead of zeroing or annihilating the 1.5m Dark Rangers, the big player lost his hero along with all troops. He was able only able to wound 252 Dark Rangers.

The big player then tried again (to free his hero) with 8,638,000 cavalry lv 9, 110,000 Ice Trap lvl 10, 30,000 Dark Ranger, Max Shiva and Max Ifrit against 1,499,748 Dark Rangers. He again lost all his troops while wounding another 794 Dark Rangers. After the second lost, his guild mates tried to help as well by sending several marches without any positive results, and he ended up utilizing the Warp Stone to get this hero back.

How is it fair for an account which has zero money spent defeat an account that spent over $50,000 US with latest and greatest gears, heroes, etc… ? Unfortunately, he is not the only player who lost his hero to an account with zero money spent. Many players felt frustrated that MZ have literally made their accounts unplayable unless these individuals invest (using it very loosely) thousands of dollars more to start enjoying again. However, instead of spending more money on the game, many players have quit / deleted their games and left the game for good!
